It’s the summer holidays! Nadja, 13, spends them at the beach. She kills time, eats an ice cream, and develops a secret fascination for a model family she has begun to spy on. When she meets Eskild, a boy of the same age who feels attracted to Nadja, she makes him her accomplice in her strange activities – which become more intense when she tells Eskild that the man in the family they are watching is her father.
