Rena is on her way home after her first day at work at a meat factory when she is almost hit on the head by a piece of falling concrete. Furious, she decides to confront the teenagers on her estate who are making her life a misery. All of a sudden, Torben, a good-looking high diver who lives in her neighbourhood, comes to her rescue. Rena falls in love with him and soon loses herself in the whole new world she encounters at the swimming pool, a world that makes her routine at the meat factory look pale in comparison.
