A bout de souffle

A swindler, a hero without motive – at the same time an adventurer and car-thieve – does all kinds of crooked deals. He shoots dead a policeman, who has caught him on his way to Paris in a stolen car. While he is on the run, he meets Patricia, a girl he knows from way back. She helps him to hide, but denounces him later on out of fear that she will fall for this dangerous lover.
