Successful Conclusion of Berlinale Goes Open Air
Berlinale Goes Open Air at the Freiluftkino Hasenheide.
From June 15 to 29, Berlinale Goes Open Air presented highlights from this year’s festival. In co-operation with five outdoor cinemas – Freiluftkino Friedrichshain, Freiluftkino Rehberge, ARTE Sommerkino Schloss Charlottenburg, Freiluftkino Friedrichshagen and Freiluftkino Hasenheide – Berlinale films from various festival sections were shown outdoors and in summery weather over the course of 15 evenings. The Berlinale, the cinemas and the distributors were very pleased with the warm reception by audiences, which attests to the cinema’s potential as a place to experience community.
