André Téchiné
Born in 1943, the director has worked with some of France’s most renowned actors including Isabelle Adjani, Catherine Deneuve and Isabelle Huppert. His films address topics including life in the countryside, marginalised sexuality and the bonds of love and family. His work has already been invited to the Berlinale Competition a number of times, most recently in 2019 with L’adieu à la nuit.
