Matteo Rovere
The producer, director and screenwriter was born in Rome, Italy in 1982. He has made several successful short and feature-length fiction films including the award-winning Italian Race and Romulus v Remus: The First King. He was showrunner on the series Romulus and directed the series The Law According to Lidia Poët.

Francesco Carrozzini
Born in Italy in 1982, the filmmaker found initial success as a photographer in New York where he photographed covers for “Vanity Fair” and “Rolling Stone” and artists including Robert De Niro and Lady Gaga. In 2013, he switched to film and made commercials and music videos for Lenny Kravitz and Beyoncé, among others. His debut feature film The Hanging Sun, an adaptation of Jo Nesbø’s novel “Midnight Sun”, screened at the Venice International Film Festival in 2022.

Francesca Mazzoleni
Born in 1989, the filmmaker studied at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. After making several short films including Il premio, which was nominated for the Nastro d’Argento, she directed her debut feature-length fiction film That’s Life in 2018. In 2020, she made the documentary Sacred Point which won Best Film at Visions du Réel and screened at more than 70 festivals.
