WCF Day 2022: Decolonising Cinema Strategies / South to South

The funding strategies of institutions like the WCF such as collaborations with passionate German / European producers, amongst others, will continue to play an important cultural and economic role in the future. Nevertheless, a more intensified cooperation and cultural exchange between different WCF funding regions – hence the title “South to South” – will be needed as part of a crucial process of emancipation, linked to cultural, economic and historical needs. Providing strategic contribution and bringing together key players in the framework of the WCF Day 2022 is one of the WCF’s contributions to support this process.
