Gecko

A dilapidated mobile home in the middle of nowhere somewhere in the country. A small boy plays in the undulating cornfields while a mother is being beaten by her husband, lover, or punter - it isn't quite clear. And yet, because this is the only family he has, the boy tries to make the man stay by offering him the only present he has to give.
