An adventure film of a different kind: this film takes us on a journey into the world of young, indigenous men who live only for the next wave. Standing on a surfboard is the high point of their day. We’re not in California but on Brazil’s north coast, which often attracts more rain than surf. Nonetheless – this is a surfing movie that transcends all clichés.
