After fighting in a colonial war, Mutar returns to his village of Tabatô in Africa. Even now, everyone in his village is a musician. He exits the airport and crosses the forecourt to walk towards his home, well dressed and pulling his trolley suitcase behind him. A shot rings out and he falls to the ground. Why is Mutar so terrified? What is he carrying in his suitcase? His daughter Fatu is curious. Even the wise women are unable to prevent her from opening the suitcase. Shock turns into surprise. The drums beat on.
