Die Unzugänglichkeit der griechischen Antike und ihre Folgen is set at a grammar school for classical humanities in Hamburg. The building was constructed according to plans by Danish architect, Arne Jacobsen. We accompany a group of students involved in initially puzzling tasks throughout the modernist school rooms: assembly hall, gym, café, library and hallways. The signs grow stronger. Utilising basic theatrical means such as spotlights, sound tube and thunder sheet, the eight protagonists enact their own performance of an ancient Greek text, that is inaccessible to a particular audience.
