Amelie rennt
Mountain Miracle – An Unexpected FriendshipAmelie is a headstrong teenager with a foul mouth. She swears at her parents, about her patronizing doctors, and most of all about her asthma. After a life-threatening asthma attack, the feisty girl from Berlin is sent to a special clinic in South Tyrol. Before long, she runs away into the mountains where she bumps into 15-year-old Bart. Without waiting for an invitation, Bart becomes her travelling companion – and proves to be just as stubborn as Amelie. The promised healing power of the traditional midsummer fire draws the pair right up to the mountain peak, and the risky ascent turns into a daring, emotional adventure: a story of the first feelings of love with enough swearing to turn the air blue.
