Sasquatch Sunset

Fans of the Zellner brothers are familiar with their surreal stories. But Sasquatch Sunset pushes the boundaries beyond imagination. After their very short short film Sasquatch Birth Journal 2, David and Nathan Zellner now take us into the life of a family that has remained hidden from humanity, immersed in the North American wilderness. Featuring actors Riley Keough and Jesse Eisenberg, the film reveals that words are not necessary to tell a story and that even human facial expressions can be dispensable if you want to evoke compassion, laughter and tears. At once very realistic in style and completely surreal in its concept, Sasquatch Sunset can be considered the epitome of the Zellner brothers’ work.
