Vika

Vika comes home for the weekend after having been away at boarding school for a long time. At home she is greeted by her little sister, lying in filth and screaming her head off. As usual, Vika tries in vain to please her mother. Only when her Mum attempts to soothe the baby by giving her a sip of vodka does Vika begin to realise the full extent of the catastrophe in which she and her overtaxed mother find themselves.
